Synopsis

 

When Jonna is told by her boss to be more friendly with restaurant customers, she could never believe what results it would yield. What at first seems like a polite conversation with the only guest quickly escalates into an unexpected turn of events.

Biography

Erik Warolin is a Stockholm-based director who works in advertising and fiction, balancing meticulously crafted visuals with human imperfections. After starting his career as a creative in an advertising agency, he took a different path and found his film school in the drama department of Sweden’s national broadcaster SVT (think BBC, but colder). Immersed in the world of scripted storytelling, he developed a directorial style built on strong narratives, visual clarity, and character-driven situational humor.
