Synopsis

Beirut, Lebanon. On the waterfront’s construction site, security agent Raed must prevent passing-by walkers from accessing the seaside. Yet as the horizon becomes each day more stifled by the construction, Raed makes peculiar encounters — mere dreams, or symbols of his desires?

Biography

 

Wissam Charaf is a French-Lebanese director, cameraman, and editor.

So far, he has directed five short fiction films – Hizz Ya Wizz, A Hero Never Dies, An Army of Ants, After, and Unforgettable Memory of a Friend, as well as It’s All In Lebanon — a 52-minute documentary. Also, his first feature film, Heaven Sent, was selected for the ACID section of the 2016 Cannes Festival.
