Synopsis

A pregnant woman, who lives with her husband selling salt by Lake Urmia, faces the risk of miscarriage due to salt storms caused by climate change and human activity. They plan to move to the city after selling their property, and in the meantime, the woman tries to protect her unborn child from the environmental dangers.

Biography

Maryam Samadi was born in 1988 in Ghotor, Khoy. She began her career in 2009 as a film student in Iran’s Young Cinema Association. Maryam has made several short films that have participated in numerous festivals and been nominated for various awards. She is passionate about communicating through visual storytelling and has worked in various roles in the film industry, including director, assistant director, script consultant, and production designer.
