Synopsis
Avesta, a young Kurdish-Yazidi woman and ISIS survivor, winds up in Brussels to wreak vengeance upon the man who enslaved her. Between a struggle for justice that sees her revisit her darkest hours, and having to mother an unwelcome child, Avesta fights to be heard whatever it takes.

Biography
Binevşa Bêrîvan was born in Istanbul. She is from Midyat and is the daughter of the writer Medeni Ferho and the niece of Derweş Ferho, the President of the Kurdish Institute in Brussels. Bêrîvan came to Belgium in 1997 and worked at Med TV. Later she started university and studied cinema. Binevşa Bêrîvan directed several short films and gained recognition with these works. In particular, she won awards at numerous film festivals worldwide for her films “La mélodie du petit château” and “Phone Story.”
