Synopsis

In the comedy “Clacson Trombette e Pernacchi,” performed in Kurdish in Istanbul, and in the film staged in Buenos Aires, adapting the story of Pinelli with “Muerte accidental de un ricotero,” Dario Fo’s theater transcends linguistic, geographical, and cultural differences, becoming a space for reflecting on the human condition and the distortions of power, with actors constantly engaged in a confrontation.

Biography

 

Director, writer, and editor Gianluca Rame was born in Rome in 1974. Combining his passion for performing arts with research into audiovisual language, he collaborated with some of the biggest names in Italian theater. He edited numerous television programs and documentaries produced by Rai, Rai Cinema, Istituto Luce, and other institutions. While working with Teatro di Roma, the Venice Biennale, and other cultural organizations on multimedia productions, he serves as an educator at the Enrico Maria Salerno Study Center in Rebibbia Prison, High-Security G12 Unit. He regularly collaborates with the Fo Rame Foundation for the preservation, storage, and promotion of video archives.
