ZEYNEP DÎLAN SUREN

Biyography

Born in 1994 in Kastamonu. During high school years, he took part in the school’s cinema club and made the short films Rozerin, Neden?, and Ben Neden İntihar Etmişim?, winning awards. After completing his bachelor’s degree in cinema, he is continuing his PhD education in the same field. The short film “Büyük İstanbul Depresyonu,” which he wrote and directed, won the Best Student Film Award at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2020. He is the producer of the short films Palmiyeler Altında Yazın Son Günü and Dilan Hakkında Konuşmalıyız, which competed at PÖFF and the Sarajevo Film Festival.
